The Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC) has launched, within the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship 2025 call, a postdoctoral fellowship in which our Grupo Ciberimaginario together with the XR COM LAB are participating.
The project, aligned with one of our research group’s priority strands, will investigate over two years how sustainable communication strategies can enhance the social acceptance of renewable energies, focusing on the misinformation and disinformation narratives that hinder their adoption.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development of innovative communication outputs, including extended reality (XR) experiences designed to counteract negative messaging, and will evaluate their impact across diverse audiences. At the XR COM LAB we offer immersive laboratories and advanced software to facilitate the creation of interactive content; in addition, we will provide international mentorship and access to European projects and networks to advance the researcher’s career.
To be eligible, applicants must hold a doctoral degree defended before 10 September 2025, have no more than eight years of postdoctoral research experience since the award of the doctorate (career breaks are permitted), and comply with the MSCA mobility rule, i.e. not having resided or worked in Spain for more than twelve months in the thirty-six months prior to the call deadline.
🗓️ Application deadline: 10 September 2025.
