UPRAISE Project Overview

The UPRAISE project is a groundbreaking initiative funded by the EU, aiming to enhance digital competencies through immersive technologies. Our objectives include training professionals in Virtual Worlds, fostering innovation, and strengthening Europe’s digital education landscape.

With a focus on XR, AI, and IoT, UPRAISE is set to transform learning experiences, providing tools and frameworks that align with European standards. This project is a collaborative effort involving 26 partners across 11 countries, ensuring a comprehensive approach to digital transformation.

By leveraging advanced analytics and multilingual evaluation frameworks, UPRAISE ensures quality and accountability, positioning Europe at the forefront of digital education advancements.

Project Inception

The UPRAISE project was officially launched, marking the beginning of a transformative journey in Virtual Worlds technologies.

First Training Cycle

Successfully completed the first training cycle, equipping over 800 professionals with cutting-edge XR skills.

Mid-Project Evaluation

Conducted a comprehensive evaluation to assess progress and refine strategies for the upcoming training phases.

Second Training Cycle

Initiated the second training cycle, expanding our reach to an additional 1,000 professionals across Europe.

2029

Final Training Cycle

Launched the final training cycle, aiming to surpass our target of training 2,500 professionals in advanced digital technologies.

Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC) is at the forefront of XR technologies and the evaluation of digital education.
